To schedule advertising recruited and generated by sales sources, assist with media schedules/booking of campaigns and to monitor pricing and discount.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
3 Years experience in administrative or financial environment
Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and internet messaging.
Ability to work in a team and to liaise with both internal and external clients
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of OATV’s pricing structures, programme content and basic understanding of media usage in Namibia
The ability to communicate in an efficient and client-friendly manner with both internal and external clients
The ability to communicate via E-Mail with clients in a professional manner
Accuracy in scheduling advertising according to client instructions
Organised with the ability to attend to detail
Computer literate to enable processing of advertising on applicable software
Key Performance Areas
Scheduling of advertising according to client instructions by making use of applicable software
Monitoring of pricing and correcting where necessary
Liaise with both internal and external clients confirming execution of media plans
Providing both internal and external clients with advice in terms of advertising placement
Monitor advertising to ensure ethics compliance
Receiving and channeling of advertising material for broadcast
Ensure that material is received on time and provided to FCC on time for broadcast
Filing of sales agreements generated by Sales Executives
Communicating of booking schedules to management, sales staff and clients.
Compiling of reports on advertising booked, broadcast and to be invoiced
Reporting of advertising not broadcast to clients and corrective action to ensure client satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
Receive bookings and schedule advertising
Confirm above with clients
Check advertising rates and allowable discount
File for future reference
Book advertising on computer system
Receive material on time
Provide FCC with material
Monitor broadcasting and reschedule if necessary
Liaise continuously with clients by E-Mail
Forward Confirmed Booking Confirmations to Finance for billing
Study content schedules and advise clients on placement when required
Extract data from booking system and provide weekly and monthly advertising/sales reports
Receive, process and where necessary refer client inquiries/complaints to the responsible staff.
